Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a Thriftier account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Thriftier.

2. What Thriftier is

Thriftier is a bookkeeping and inventory tool for resellers — tracking items, listings, sales, expenses, and profit across marketplaces and in-person booths. Some features (ThriftIQ photo appraisals, receipt scanning) use AI models to analyze photos you upload.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use Thriftier. One account per person.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Thriftier offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier, billed monthly or annually. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime from the Account page — your Pro access continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and the subscription won't renew after that. We don't provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

We may change our pricing going forward; we'll give existing subscribers notice before a price change takes effect on their next renewal.

5. Your data

You own the inventory, sales, expense, and listing data you enter into Thriftier. We don't sell it or use it to train third-party models. See the Privacy Policyfor how it's handled and who processes it on our behalf.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Thriftier to store or process anything illegal, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or share your account with people outside your business.

7. AI features

ThriftIQ appraisals and receipt scanning use AI to generate estimates and extracted data. These are estimates, not guarantees — always verify pricing and figures before relying on them for a sale or your books.

8. Termination

You can stop using Thriftier and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Thriftier is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages arising from your use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date; continuing to use Thriftier after a change means you accept it.
